Charter Maintenance
Ethics & Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Active Charter Maintenance
An ICQAS charter is not a lifetime credential earned through a single exam. To remain in active, good standing on the global registry, charterholders must demonstrate ongoing competency.
Annual CPD Requirements
- Charterholders must earn a minimum of 10 CPD credits annually.
- Credits are earned through the ICQAS Learning Vault, attending approved clinical workshops, or passing module updates when international bodies (like WHO or CLSI) revise their standards.
Ethics & Code of Conduct
Charterholders are bound by the ICQAS Code of Ethics, which mandates strict adherence to patient privacy laws (HIPAA, GDPR, DPDPA), anti-fraud statutes, and clinical compliance protocols. Violations reported to the Trust may result in charter suspension or revocation following a board review.
Maintenance Fee
₹999 / $15 USD annually (begins Year 2).
