Institutional Clarification & Credentialing Scope
The Institute of Clinical Quality & Allied Sciences (ICQAS) is an independent, non-profit, public educational and standard-setting Trust registered at Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.
Non-Statutory Entity
ICQAS operates strictly as an autonomous, private standard-setting body. It explicitly does not function as a statutory state council, medical council (NMC), pharmacy council (PCI), rehabilitation council (RCI), or university constituted under the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956, or corresponding international university acts.
Nature of Credentials
ICQAS does not confer primary medical, nursing, pharmacy, or core pathology degrees, nor does it confer a legal license to practice medicine or allied healthcare in any jurisdiction. All certificates, digital charters, and designations issued by ICQAS (including CPQS and CMQS) are voluntary, post-qualification quality-assurance credentials. They validate documented theoretical and procedural adherence to international scientific benchmarks (including CLSI, ISO 15189, JCI, WHO, NGSP, CAP, NABL, and NABH guidelines).
Credentialing Safe Harbor
In accordance with the Trust Deed, ICQAS, its governing divisions, and its Trustees bear no legal, financial, or vicarious liability for any clinical errors, medical negligence, diagnostic anomalies, or operational failures committed by third-party individuals or healthcare institutions holding credentials or charters issued by the Trust.
